The Story Behind the Practice
Payal brings over seven years of teaching experience to the mat, grounded in a strong foundation of classical yoga and a deep personal journey. What began as a practice to improve her own health gradually became her life's calling. The energy, clarity, and inner balance she experienced inspired her to share yoga with others, and she has been teaching ever since.
She completed 520 hours of Yoga Teacher Training in India, where she developed a solid understanding of traditional yoga philosophy, asana, pranayama, meditation, and alignment. Her teaching blends authentic yogic wisdom with a compassionate, student-centered approach.
Payal adapts every class to meet students where they are. Some sessions emphasize stillness, relaxation, and restoration, while others focus on building strength, stability, and confidence. Throughout every class, she prioritizes mindful breathing, safe alignment, and creating a welcoming environment where students feel supported rather than pressured.
She specializes in prenatal yoga and therapeutic movement, with additional training in prenatal and postnatal yoga. Drawing from her classical yoga education, she helps students move safely, build body awareness, and cultivate a deeper connection between breath and movement. She has taught students from around the world through both online and in-person classes, and her work has been featured in media appearances and community programs in India celebrating International Yoga Day.
Students often describe leaving her classes feeling lighter, calmer, and more connected to their bodies. Creating that experience—one that nurtures both physical well-being and inner peace—is at the heart of every class she teaches.
